About I'm A Proud American

These powerful words were put to paper by imperfect men who saw a greater vision of who we as a nation were, and who we would become. The founders were from a variety of backgrounds. They brought together the greatest minds of the time. They put into place a road map that has guided us for over 230 years.

These leaders didn't always agree, but they came together to compromise and create a prosperity that is unrivaled. This idea of a FREE nation has come at a great cost. Over 1.3 million military personnel have lost their lives defending our FREEDOMS.

Freedom always comes at a cost.

"Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free."

Our goal here is to remind us of who we as a country are meant to be. To remember those who have Fought, Bled, and Died defending our founders' vision for this American Nation.

We at I'm A Proud American will always stand for the flag. We think about the cost of freedom, and we see the loss and pain felt by those who have fought to preserve this Great Nation.

We Support Our Military, Law Enforcement and First Responders and will give them the respect they have earned.

"For those who fight for it, freedom has a taste the protected will never know."

We haven't always been perfect as a nation. We still are not, but the opening of our Constitution tells us exactly what we are always striving to become. We are continually working to become "...a more perfect union."

We are not perfect but our goal is to become more perfect each day.
